Although the taxes are paid by individual employees\, nonprofit employers should understand the new program and share information with their employees. Individuals have a one-time only opportunity to opt out of participating in the program by proving that they have private LTC insurance in place by November 1\, 2021. \nWashington Nonprofits has arranged for two briefings to help you and your employees understand the new LTC program. Part 2: What employees need to know about the Washington Cares Fund is scheduled on June 29\, 2-3pm\, register here: https://washingtonnonprofits.secure.nonprofitsoapbox.com/2021-06-29-wa-cares \nCost – Free \nAbout The Presenter \nChristina Buchholz\, Brown & Brown Insurance \nAs the Brown & Brown Seattle Employee Benefits Practice Leader\, Christina prides herself on developing a team that would bring best in class employee benefits capabilities to customers.
