DESCRIPTION:Register here \nThe Economic Development Board for Tacoma-Pierce County (EDB)\, in partnership with the Washington MBDA Business Center and the Office of Minority and Women’s Business Enterprise (OMWBE)\, is hosting a “Fast Track Certification” Training to help businesses recover and rebound from the effects of the pandemic. \nThis is a great opportunity for local businesses to increase their competitive advantage and vie for new contracting opportunities for certified businesses with federal\, state\, and local governments. \nBusinesses will receive: \nIn-person training and overview about the certification process\nTips on how to successfully complete an application\nAccess to a computer lab during the training session\n1-on-1 support and ongoing follow-up from staff\nNote: Please know or have access to your UBI# and Federal EIN/SSN. \nPlease bring a physical card or digital image for Proof of Vaccination or a negative test result (from the past 72hours). Seating is Limited to Event Registrants ONLY and complies with current Covid-19 social distancing guidelines. \nCovid-19 Safety Updates: \nFacial coverings will be required by all staff & attendees\, regardless of vaccination status. Masks will be made available at the door.\nTemperature checks will be conducted at entry.\nContact tracing procedures will be employed for any reported exposure.\nEnhanced sanitization protocols will be adhered to throughout the event space including regularly disinfecting surfaces throughout the event and hand sanitizer provided to all attendees.

DESCRIPTION:Register here \nCommunities Rise and the King County Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division have partnered to offer pro-bono legal services for your organization. \nWashington based nonprofits and community-based organizations can make an appointment for a one hour consultation to meet one-on-one with an attorney to answer short legal questions about their nonprofit. Please keep in mind the clinic provides a one hour consultation and questions that can be answered in a short amount of time are best suited for the clinic. The clinic does not provide support with drafting or revising Articles of Incorporation\, contracts\, bylaws or policies. \nOur legal clinics are available by appointment only and intended for 501c3 and 501c4 organizations with limited financial resources for legal assistance.
