Even when doing the right thing, poor communication or implementation can have as negative an effect as the positive we ambition to achieve. From the fallacy of the Open Door Policy to the vitality of learning HOW your employees prefer you communicate with them, learn the basic tools you can use right away to establish the foundation of your workplace culture.
The instructor, Shawn Palmer is an SBDC Certified Business Advisor with OneRedmond and OneEastside in Redmond, Washington. Shawn combines strong analytics with creative problem-solving; skills honed as a decorated Naval officer. He operated his own financial advising firm for nearly 20 years and earned his Bachelors Degree in Business Administration (Finance) from Central Washington University (2001) and Masters Degree in Management and Leadership from WGU (2020).

Registration Policies for Workshops:
Registration and Fees (IF ANY): Payment of seminar fees may be made by check or money order. No credit card information can be accepted by email, fax, over the phone or at the event. Payment must be received to guarantee your space in an event.
Refund Policy: If you wish to request a refund, please contact the conference organizer listed above. Refunds of 90% can be issued if canceled at least 5 days in advance. You may also elect to send a substitute in your place. If the event is canceled, all fees will be returned.
Photographs: Photos taken during training may be used by SBDC for promotional purposes. Please inform the SBDC personnel onsite OR email training@wsbdc.org with the class information to request photos that include you not be publicized.
