The Washington Festivals & Events Grant is a $3.5 million fund available this summer specifically for festivals and events in communities with a population of 100,000 or less. The Washington Festivals and Events Association (WFEA) is administering this fund.

Covered expenses include deposits on infrastructure (security, temporary fencing, staging, lights, sound equipment, etc.) and staff and labor costs. Grants range from $5,000 to $35,000.

The application window for the Festivals & Events grant will open Wednesday, June 8, 2022. Applications will be accepted until Friday, July 1 at 5:00 p.m.

NOTE: We encourage all applicants to register with SAM.gov for a Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) number. It may take a while to receive your number. If you are a recipient of the Festivals & Event Grant, you will need to be registered with SAM prior receiving grant funds.
