SPARK Made Local Series
Funded by a generous grant from the Washington State Microenterprise Association (WSMA), the SPARK Made Local Series, May 28-31, 2024 is dedicated to supporting makers and creative entrepreneurs across Washington State. The past decade has seen a significant rise in the informal and home-based maker economy. According to Nest, a global nonprofit championing the artisan and maker industry, the U.S. Handworker Industry contributed over $14 billion to the economy in 2021. Additionally, the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) reported that more than 5 million individuals earned an income through art, craft, or other creative entrepreneurship that year.
Join us in celebrating and empowering Washington’s vibrant maker community through the SPARK Made Local Series.
