Description:
This session is a panel discussion hosted by the Washington SBDC as part of the Black-Owned Business Excellence Symposium. This session will start at 10:00 AM with a panel discussion among Black business owners. There will also be a discussion of the PPP and other SBA economic relief programs, including time for some Q&A.
The Black-Owned Business Excellence Symposium is an all-day virtual conference to celebrate, educate and inspire Black business owners.
More than a dozen organizations have helped organize the calendar of events, including the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), Washington state’s Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC), other civic and business organizations and state and city governmental agencies focused on the advancement of BIPOC businesses.
The Black-Owned Business Excellence conference consists of a series of virtual presentations and discussions starting at 9 a.m. with a keynote address on the state of Black-owned businesses in Washington state by the Minority Business Diversity Association.
