November Nonprofit Legal Clinic

Communities Rise and the King County Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division have partnered to offer pro-bono legal services for your organization.

Washington based nonprofits and community-based organizations can make an appointment for a one hour consultation to meet one-on-one with an attorney to answer short legal questions about their nonprofit. Please keep in mind the clinic provides a one hour consultation and questions that can be answered in a short amount of time are best suited for the clinic. The clinic does not provide support with drafting or revising Articles of Incorporation, contracts, bylaws or policies.

Our legal clinics are available by appointment only and intended for 501c3 and 501c4 organizations with limited financial resources for legal assistance. Call 206-324-5850 or email contact@communities-rise.org with questions or to schedule. All clinics will be held virtually or via phone consultation until further notice.

Can’t make this one? These clinics occur monthly!

This clinic is exclusively for nonprofit organizations, and does not provide services for individual or personal concerns. Consultations are by appointment only and often fill up quickly. Priority is given to small nonprofits located in Seattle/King County with budgets under $350,000.
