The Economic Aid Act, signed into law on December 27, 2020, provided a number of updates to programs administered by the U.S. Small Business Administration’s (SBA) Office of Disaster Assistance, including a deadline extension to the low-interest Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL) and the allocation of $20 billion for a Targeted EIDL Advance Program focused on companies in low-income communities.

The Act also established a $15 billion Shuttered Venue Operators (SVO) Grant program, to support live venues, theaters, museums, etc. that have experienced significant revenue losses with $2 billion reserved for eligible applications with up to 50 full-time employees.

Join representatives from the SBA’s Office of Disaster Assistance and Seattle District office as they review the information currently available on these programs.
