Overview
Beginning March 1, 2022, the vaccine verification requirement will no longer be in effect in King County. To learn more about this policy change, visit Public Health Seattle & King County’s website.
Businesses and organizations may still choose to implement their own vaccine verification policies.
- If a business decides not to continue checking customers’ proof of vaccine, they should take down the vaxx verification poster on March 1 (not beforehand)
- If a business decides to continue checking, they should replace the poster with one that is available on https://www.kcvaxverified.com/tools or create their own
King County’s vaccine verification health order came into effect on October 25, 2021, and impacts certain businesses and events. People ages 12 and older are required to show proof of full COVID-19 vaccination or a negative test result to enter businesses and events covered by the order.
