Who We Fund

Applications are accepted from nonprofit organizations with tax exempt status under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code that operates within the Northwest Washington region.

What We Fund

We fund a variety of capital and equipment projects in the areas of human services, education and youth development. The average Norman Archibald Charitable Foundation grant is $3,000-$7,000. We fund capital campaigns with a minimum of 70% raised and equipment projects or purchases that provide for long term sustainability for the organization. The foundation does not fund program support. If you are an arts or youth related arts organization in King or Pierce County, please reach out to ArtsFund as the foundation provides support for their grantmaking efforts to serve this geographic areas. Unfortunately, we do not provide grants to school foundations.

Grant Timeline

We accept applications on a rolling basis and applications are reviewed at the quarterly board meetings.

The Washington Small Business Development Center (SBDC) provides in-depth, confidential, no cost customized one-on one business advising, business training and advisor assisted market intelligence. Shawn Palmer is an SBDC Business Advisor with OneRedmond and OneEastside.
